The Mid-Autumn Festival has passed, ushering in the crisp and refreshing autumn days. Everyone is itching to unwind and let loose, eager to make the most of this lovely season to relax!
We used to only marvel at other companies’ wonderful team-building trips, envying them from afar. Now, Shenzhen Xinghua Technology held its 2019 team-building activity! Designed to foster communication between new and veteran staff, deepen mutual understanding, boost team morale, and balance work with leisure, our three-day team getaway was about to kick off.
Our destination was the Dark Cave River Rafting Area in Yequ Valley, Heyuan. The moment our colleagues pictured this scenic land of rolling mountains and clear waters, excitement filled the tour bus. Though the sky looked overcast at departure, our spirits remained undampened!
We visited the Asia’s Tallest Musical Fountain along the Xinfeng River. Integrating sound, light, water and color, the fountain consists of a main jet and auxiliary jets. The main jet shoots a 169-meter water column straight into the sky, presenting a grand and breathtaking spectacle. Funded by the Heyuan Municipal People’s Government and completed on February 6, 1999, it ranks as Asia’s tallest musical fountain to this day. Its auxiliary section features 1,068 nozzles and 618 underwater colored lights. Accompanied by cheerful melodies, it creates dozens of dazzling, ever-changing water scenes by switching between eight water shapes: vertical jets, water curtains, rolling waves, pine-shaped sprays, inward arcs, swaying streams, woven water nets and more.
